Writing by Design Media is accepting applications for spring 2020 internships. Students will earn academic credit and gain experience writing and creating content for a quarterly magazine that focuses on entrepreneurship.

Internship Descriptions
Social media intern: Create content for social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn).
Writer: Compose feature stories about local millennial entrepreneurs in the Memphis area. (Open to college students at LeMoyne-Owen College, Southwest Tennessee Community College, University of Memphis and Christian Brothers University).
PR intern: Assist PR Manager with marketing and communications for events, newsletters and other special event projects. Requirements: Current student at a two-year or four-year university majoring in public relations or journalism. Knowledge: Coursework in public relations, journalism. Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) email and Google Docs.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Public Relations or Journalism major
Good communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Proficiency using social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat)
