Annette Peagler

Annette Peagler is a Weekend Anchor and Reporter for Local 24 News and CW 30 News. 


Prior to her move to Memphis, Annette was a reporter and fill in anchor at WLBT/WDBD in Jackson, MS. She has also worked as a Multimedia Journalist at WKEF ABC 22/WRGT FOX 45 in Dayton, OH.


Annette, graduated Cum Laude from Hampton University with a Bachelor Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in English. After graduation, she joined WCPO-TV as the station’s first ever Apprentice through The E.W. Scripps Company. Through this two year program, Annette learned every aspect of the newsroom, from reporting to the assignment desk.  She was a Producer and Multimedia Journalist at the station for two additional years after the program. 


Annette volunteers for the Urban League, Girls Inc., and serves as Secretary for the Memphis Association of Black Journalists.  She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.  Annette is a Philadelphia, PA native.
