Our Mission
We, the members of the Memphis Association of Black Journalists, believe that minority journalists and media professionals should work to increase minority employment in the media, to increase the number of minorities in management positions, to encourage and educate young minorities interested in pursuing a mass communications career, and to monitor and sensitize all media to racism, diversity and equal employment opportunities in the Mid-South area.
